Somary Contreras has worked in Kindergarten & Pre-K Classes for Holy Family School for 11 years. She served in the U.S. Army and holds certifications in CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED, Virtus and Rutgers Safety. She has been with the camp since the first year.
Senior Supervisory Staff
Isabel Contreras is currently a student at Richard Stockton College. Her responsibility is to oversee indoor activities, special events and the Teen Camp. Ropes, Archery, Virtus and CPR certified.
Ralph Cretella will be attending law school in the fall. His primary responsibility is to oversee the ropes course and and special events. Ropes, Archery, Virtus and CPR certified.
Group Leaders – College students, teachers & adults responsible for leading groups of campers and supervising a working relationship with the counselor(s) assigned to their group. Assist specialists at program areas and sometimes runs activities. Most of all, the job is to be with the kids! (Bianca Mercado, Samantha Alexander, Christina Reilly, Brittany Errickson, Ryan Cabrita, Joe Szesko)
Counselors – Entering juniors and seniors in high school, responsible for assisting the leadership of the camper group along with the group leader; assists specialists at program areas. Most of all, the job is to be with the kids!
Junior Counselors – You’re almost there-next year you’re a counselor! Entering 10th grade. Most of all, their job is to be with the kids.
CIT – Entering 9th Grade “Counselors in Training” are “trainees”, hoping to one day become a counselor. Most of all, their job is to be with the kids!
LIT – Entering 8th Grade “Leaders in Training” are “trainees” hoping to become CIT’s next year. Most of all, their job is to be with the kids. (1 day per week)
Senior Supervisory Staff - Helps oversee and assist in all aspects of the camp, concentrating on pools, trips, athletics & adventure electives, equipment/supplies, and Team building.

Specialists – Responsible for the planning and facilitation of special activities. They have been specially trained in their areas, which include: Aquatics, ropes course, archery, science, music, computer, cooking, and various sports.

Camp Secretary- Responsible for the functioning of the camp office in the summer.
Director – Responsible for everyone and everything happening at camp, on the camp buses, and on trips. Responsible for direct supervision and evaluation of the group leaders and counselors. Ensures the general safety and fun experience of the campers.
